William has worked as a conservation biologist in the disciplines of fisheries and wildlife for nearly four decades. He has also taught natural science courses in college. He has conducted workshops and lectures during this same time period in nature photography, fisheries, and wildlife.

His work has included management of mitigation lands for protected wildlife. Some examples include land management specifically for the Florida scrub jay, Florida burrowing owl, bald eagles, crested caracaras, gopher tortoises and their commensals.

William’s career is unique in that he has combined his science background and knowledge with nature photography. His natural science background has made him a better nature photographer and nature photography has helped him become a better ecologist.  We think you will find that William’s photographs capture the uniqueness and beauty of nature in its natural environment.

William’s goal in nature photography is to have others have a greater appreciation of the natural environment and foster a desire to help preserve our natural resources.

William also works as a Senior Ecologist (Wildlife Biologist) at Passarella & Associates, Inc.  You can visit the company's website at www.Passarella.net.
